handling Quantity: 1 Dimensions: length 6’ 11" x width 3’ 4" Description: Moderately sized oval braided rug made by Miss Cooper Jones circa 1950. She was an architect-interior designer, artist and clothing designer. At one time she had her own fashion label. This rug explores another technique for determining the final size and shape. She started with an elongate folded braid in the center, followed by several turns which would result in an oval rug. But here she added some transverse folds at the end before the final two turns around the outside. The result is a rug longer than the number of turns and original center fold would yield. Condition: this rug has seen more traffic than the previous two and is a bit more faded, but otherwise the condition is very good.
